Always good to see our friend Steve... going through some tough health problems myself, and seeing you getting on with your life, even with your health problems really motivates me, thank you.

92 LX was my favorite patrol car of my career!

The LX with the 5.0 was the hot ticket back then, with less weight than the GT (and a lower profile on the street). This one is as close to 1992 as you can get. Thank you High Octane Classics and Mr Magnante (and hope the biop comes back clear) ~ Chuck

Sweet little pony. I remember when Ky. Highway Patrol had some of these Mustangs. Thanks Steve. Take care!🙏🏼

Steve does a fantastic job of presenting this gem.

It should make someone very happy when it finds it's new owner.

Steve, looks like you're getting around a bit better! My brother survived encephalitis years ago, in his early 40's. He's soon to be 75, works full time, by choice, remodeling houses. It takes time, but you're getting there! Keep the videos coming, we're enjoying them. 👍

5.0 LX notchback, no bodykit. The perfect fox Mustang to me. Just a badge and pair of polished pipes out back to tell you what’s up. That’s grown up muscle, and the proportions are so tidy.

Keep on keepin' on Steve! BTW, a slight correction - the follow on to the Foxbodies were the SN95 platform generation which was in turn replaced by the S197 generation.

The LX also came in a hatchback, not just the GT. Great to see you, Steve!

I bought a 1993 LX 5.0 5 Spd in 1996. It was Royal Blue with charcoal black interior. Of all the Mustangs I've owned that car was my favorite loved driving it everyday!

My brother and I had four Fox body Mustangs/Capris between '79 and '91. The 302 was a breath of fresh air from the slugs we had been putting up with during that era.

If you wanted a lighter 5.0 coupe, the LX was the way to go. I'm pretty sure it was an LX notch that Revan Evan used to set those crazy low 1/4 mi times back in the early days. Too bad all these cars were thrashed so much that clean survivors cost so much. One note - the SN95 was the first to get five-lugs on all models.

As a GM/Mopar guy, I hated to admit the 5.0 notch was a good looking car on the street back in the day

Late 70's to early 90's Fords had the best door closing noise

What a beauty! My friend's dad bought him a new '92 LX very similar to this except his was a 5-speed. First thing he did was change the cam and exhaust, was a blast! He kept it for twenty or so years with many engine swaps. Thanks Steve!

The LX 5.0 was my favorite. So easy to work on and maintain.

Sn95 1994+ the Mustang became 5 lug and 4 wheel disc brakes. 225hp was mentioned, however the 300+ ftlb torque was what helped these cars the most!
