If you haven't seen it, Floor singing Oi Jouluyö (Oh Holy Night) in concert while she was pregnant has to be right up on the top of the Xmas songs. She doesn't sing it in English, but her voice transcends any language barrier on this one. It brings a tear to the eye every time I watch it.

Marko's wntire reaction at the end just crushes me. The "big brother" totally loving and appreciating his "sister" just melts me into a puddle. There is so very much respect between these two, which in my opinion, is why Nightwish is so magical. The whole band feels this way toward each other. Thanks for sharing your reaction, Jynger. Loved the hat!

"Raskasta Joulua" is Finnish and means "heavy Christmas". They have recorded traditional Christmas carols and Christmas hits in a heavy metal style. Raskasta Joulua tour is a big tradition in Finland nowadays - every year there is a two-hour TV broadcast of the tour on Christmas Eve. The lineup usually includes Finland's most famous heavy metal artists and many guest stars from other European countries: Marko, Tarja, Noora (Battle Beast), Floor, Elize Ryd (Amaranth), ...
Marko is on the tour again this year.

I thought for a minute that you had become immune to Floor and Marco’s singing. Nope! There was definitely leakage at the end! There is some magical about the two of them together. Wether it’s metal or ballads they always bring it.
Whenever I hear Ave Maria or the operatic part of Shoemaker I sit there blubbing like a baby, which is embarrassing as I’m an old fart!

Thank you for this reaction. Must have seen this a dozen times before, but another is ALWAYS welcome. Being so used to Marko’s ‘Viking warrior growl’ this may come as a surprise to many. Floor’s rendition will be a surprise to no one, everyone knows that she can do anything and everything.
