Almost $700.... that's MORE expensive than a lot of good 27" 1440p IPS monitors or hell even some lenses. Hard skip for me on this one. I'd consider it at $300ish, no way would I buy this for $700.

Didn't know displaying static images required a quad core CPU and 2 gigs of RAM. It also draws 20 watts on average.

Can it be color corrected? Are you loading your photos on their website? Do they claim they can now share the photos with their partner companies?

How is the color accuracy of this screen? Can you color calibrate this screen to make sure colors show correctly? I think these are they types of things we look for in reviews by you guys. Your videos are becoming more and more "features oriented" than real reviews. I love all your old videos.

That looks awesome! But, there's has to be a cheaper option that's not total garbage. Any recommendations below $200?

Agree, that's a little steeper than I am willing to spend. Is there anything out there that uses battery/cordless? I would pay more for a cordless digital frame. Thanks for your video. Informative.

The best picture display I've used is my Google Home Hub. The screen changes brightness automatically and adjusts it's white balance to match the room. It looks like a paper print. It's wild.

Have you used that device to compare to this frame? Does it do the white balance adjustments? Also, how does it look at night? Does it go dark to not be distracting?

I know a lot of people are going to complain about the price, but I can get why it would cost that much and why it's not just a simple monitor - lots of little things have to go into making it seemless in a room that is a niche product. Thanks for putting this on the radar

Does it light up if it’s dark? I want something like this in my bedroom

I'm a joiner by trade and making a wooden frame to go around a monitor will only take around an hour or 2 to do so. Doing large numbers would take even less time. So should be the smallest cost involved really.

it's also technology that's 10 years old or something now. Production costs should be cheaper.

Apart from that. It looks great. And blends it way better that the other minister looking ones you mentioned.

Love your videos anyway. Keep up the good work!

How exactly can you load photos from your PC? I've not found that feature, and working from the cell is tedious at best. Plus, I cannot find how to delete an image. With all that said...We love it, as we are full-time rvers, and traveling hobbyist photographers with little wall space and tons of cool travel shots. We looked at the price as if we'd printed just 5 metal prints, and we'd be well over the purchase price. It has to be taken down each time we move, so we designed a french cleat for it. 4K would be awesome - totally agree. Judy @ In The Moment Travels

Hi Tony, what camera are you holding when doing this video?

hey how is the software with this to post your own content? is there a pc based version of it or just an app on the phone? What about streaming content to it how easy it to setup a slide show? what about stream content from a remote location like a cloud rather than the 8GB disk?

Hey Tony, I've been trying to find a digital frame that is large enough to display our photos. What do you think about having this in a living room? How does it do if the lights go off? I see the have a Canvas 2 but can't find much about it. Hey Thanks for the great videos.

The $700 price no matter what you'd said earlier would be a shocker, but when it was preceded by 4 or 5 significant negative points that already make you think it's not something you'd want, well that just puts the nail in the coffin. Paying that price for something awesome (whatever it might be) is not a problem, but paying it for something you'd rate at $50 based on its shortcomings ... that ain't gonna happen.

Can you tell me the width of your wall? The proportions look good.

How many metal prints can I get for $700?

You can literally just mount a decent TV to the wall then build a frame around it ( or just forget the frame). Many TVs have a photo display mode also ... Just slot in a USB stick. ( No Arduino required) This product is pointless.

If you display a 3:2 image with the frame in horizontal positioning or 2:3 in portrait positioning does the user have a choice whether to crop the image or show the whole image, albeit with letter-boxing (i.e. borders)? To be concise can you force the unit to show an entire standard Full Frame or ASPC image? Would greatly appreciate an answer to this as being forced to crop or having the device crop my images would be a deal breaker. Many thanks.

I just knew we were going to see that sun setting picture Tony is so proud about.
