Okay no one is mentioning WHY this happened. I actually read an article talking about [100s of buildings with over 100, 000 tonnes of concrete to be torn down in China due to incorrect concrete mixture/production]

Basically, there were some apartment buildings made intially from one major construction company, and as they expanded into other building projects with their [cheaper alternative concrete] the apartment building started breaking down. Whole floors would crumble internally, a person taking a bath fell two stories straight down...

The concrete they made, deteroites over time becoming more and more brittle until it crumbles into sand and dust.

This video is demolishing these faulty concrete structures before people use them and get injured.

Scariest part is, they are falling over! Buildings that tall are supposed to be designed to fall into their own footprint so they don't fall like dominoes. Everything designed by these folks needs to be looked at for safety.

Producing ONE tonne of concrete is equivalent to driving for around 1500 miles. Each one of those buildings weigh around 500, 000 tonnes. We’ve also got the transport of all that material.

Imagine having 600 million buildings as a result of corrupt building practices, and then having to demolish a ton of them in order to rescue property value in your country, but simultaneously flushing billions in investment capital down the drain in the process. Salt in the wound being that the demolition process was even more shoddy than the construction since you couldn't even afford to properly demolish the them 😂.
