- has over 1800 books -
"we've scanned 600 books, we're at the halfway point!"
Oh, Jack... sweetie.... not quite.... 😅

I was talking to my tech guy at work and I said "i always wanted a label maker, but i have nothing to label, " and he responded with "If you have a label maker, you'll have stuff to label"

1) I'm invested in the neighbours drama
2) yes to see the rest of the apartment
3) you should switch places between the drawers and the desk

Came for the label making, stayed for the plot as thick as knotweed

I think if the labels weren't white, maybe darker or even black with white text, that might fit the whole vibe better

If he keeps collecting books at this rate the next video will be "I bought a house for my books" lol

the excitement over the barcode scanner is the blissful glee of someone who has never worked retail

As a STEM girl who also loves reading: Bluetooth is basically short range radio waves and devices will jump between channels to find the best signal with the least interference. Of course within the distance it allows

can we just talk about jack's room decor skills??? The furniture, the colours and green contrast on the natural wood. Damn, interior designer needs to be added to his resume immediately

Jack sucked us into the drama of the building, hooked us, blinded us, distracted us with a conspiracy theory, then blinded us again. Only Jack

How did we go from only just being 1000 books to now being closer to 2000 🤯 feels like just the other day you were trying to grow the ‘home library’!

don’t remove the magic portal door!!! you can add a brass door handle and it would look so good! It divides up the space. Otherwise, it looks too busy..

You could also put a lil rug under the chair - major cozy vibes!

18:19 i would put the lables in the left corners instead of the center. They would look more subtle and intentional rather than a bookstore vibe

🚨Content/Sensory alert

Bright light (from a book scanner) flashed directly into camera (Jack also shines the scanner at his face a bit) time window listed below. (so folks can listen/look away from the screen if they would like to avoid it):

As someone who has been tracking their personal library in Excel for 2 years, I am shocked to learn about Libib. During your video I was like, nah I don’t need to do that… But when you showed how it can sort your library by author, title, date of publication, even star rating?!? Oh man I may have to convert. I’m going to fall asleep debating this tonight…

"it's all made of paper" is actually a great thing to print considering that you're surrounded by books

'Garden Gate' is the funniest drama I've heard about in a long time 😆

No please I adore the door in between the other books! It makes it look so much more personal, like instead of just portraying you like books, it feels like you managed to visually represent a diary page where there is so much self awareness, a raw representation of who you are but there is this small door where you know its part of you but you’re not ready to write it yet
