For anyone confused on what he means by “Go to the Lake and You will Drown”, it’s a reference to Old Man consequences from FNAF World or more specifically, the secret ending where You have to glitch (or “Drown”) yourself in his Lake in order to get the ending or even more obscurily, it might be a reference to the scrapped Old Man Consequences Song that Scott was supposed to send You to after Forth Wall (before it got scrapped that is)

Technically Scott’s not wrong, boyfriend does technically get trapped because that’s Scott’s world, just because boyfriend has the ability to reset time, doesn’t mean that he can’t escape Scott’s world.
