1 point in zeal and charge, rest in holy fire + rasist fire. You can zoom through normal like nothing. Also around 32 level respec to lightning aura and do the same in nightmare. Its so op.

Best build is to upgrade it to an auradin, dream helm / shield. Dragon armor hand of justice weapon

Another video I watched had praise for the Fire Aura paladin’s effectiveness in Normal difficulty but warns that it falls off a cliff in Nightmare and Hell.

Ayy ended up getting a scepter with +3 holy fire and +3 fire res, spent 400k at the shop but was so worth with +23 to holy fire the beta was a blast running this build!

I ran holy fire until i could use a kuko and razortail. Was fun for awhile then respecced to hammerdin at 45.

Actually in D2 (99") there was glitch stacking Lvl. X Holy Fire Aura when equipped on the items to maybe lvl200+
- Cows runs are faster that Meshif's ship traveling from Act2 to Act3 😂

Definitely the best paladin build up until about the end of act two then it starts falling off, I usually start off all of my paladins as a holy fire and find a scepter with +3 holy fire then respec into hammers around level 25, I really don't think this build is viable at all in nightmare or hell though, like I said I respec right before duriel then go into holy hammer but at level 65 you can put the dream runeword into both a helmet and Sheild which gives level 30 holy shock which is the same as holy fire just lightning damage instead and having +10 above the normal max level which is 20 straight melts enemies, then you use zeal as your melee since you get all 30 holy shock levels from your items alone it gives you a ton of skill points to put into other stuff so max sacrifice and zeal then holy shield and smite you end up having Max block and end up with one of the best Uber killing builds in the game I played path of exile for a while because I hated Diablo 3 and there's a build called righteous fire it's a lot like that except in that game you can actually see the width of your aura to know exactly where the damage reaches but at level 30 it pretty much covers the entire screen with both dream rune words equipped

Question what is the best weapon a scepter with holy fire+ 3 resist fire+2 with 2 sockets; a steel runeword; or angel’s sickle with a 2 set gear bonus

Unplayable once you hit act 4 nightmare lol. Great levelling build though. Good for getting Larzuk quest for sockets.
