I grew up and went to school with guys who became associates and made men in the Genovese families branch in Newark, New Jersey. I have no more respect for Joey. Colombo underboss Sonny Franzese was the most stand-up guy the mob ever produced, and for Joey to call him a rat. Are you kidding me.. He would never say that to Sonny's face. Joey Merlino is the opposite of La Cosa Nostra. That is why he is on YouTube and trying to act like he isn’t on YouTube for clout when he is. Sonny Franzese is the real deal and almost no one compare to him and Michael put in his work and time and contributed a lot to that family. Michael was big time and bigger than 95% of people in that life. Melina will never be known like Franzese will be known.

I love the way Skinny Joey has presented himself ever since he’s been put in the spotlight by the media. He knows how to play the game, he’s well mannered and respectable whenever he’d seen out in public. He knows attention follows him wherever he goes, and whenever he senses things are getting out of control, he apologizes and leaves on his own free will before security can even get involved. Even when he did time in prison, he was respectful to all races and tried to avoid problems. Always made sure to include ppl when sharing food. He is a solid individual who earned his respect. Unlike Michael Franzeese who’s a hypocrite and cooperated with the Gov.
