Just a quick note at 2:08 and 3:11, it is IPx8, not IP8x. The first number (x) is solid particle protection, and the second number (8) is liquid ingress protection.

I really wanted a Pebble in my teens. I didn't have a smartphone then and by the time I got one in college, Pebble was "dead". I got an Apple watch a couple of years ago, but hated having to charge it each day and, after a while, the notifications bugged me. I got into buying regular watches late last year and have 10 in my collection now. With the scope of this release and my fascination with Pebble in the past, I feel compelled to pre-order. Perhaps this may get me to enjoy smartwatches

Hell yes! I still have most of my Pebble Watches and they all still work. This looks like Eric has learned from the past and is slowly working towards a bright "PebbleOS" future! I'm in!

Pebble was the GAMEBOY of smartwatches! Simple design, long battery life and easy to develop for. Innovation in the wearables industry died the day Fitbit bought them out. I doubt this will make wearables mainstream again, but I'm looking forward to semi-underground 2nd renaissance in this heavily neglected tech niche.

Right on. I have a super old amazfit bip. It's pretty much the same kind of thing. I.E. low power, ultra long battery life. It is so useful. No fees. GPS tracking and text alerts. All I need. I'm glad that someone has come back to fill this segment.

Pre ordered the non touch screen (simplicity was the pebble's strength). It just did notifications so well. We don't want a fitness tracker, just something that saves us getting our phone out all the time. Same with smart glasses. Pebble glasses!

Just ordered core time 2. Started with pebble time as my first smartwatch and loved it! Kept them going through rebl until it was beat to hell finally switched to fitbit. Currently have a sense, pixel 3 and GW7, looking forward to adding this to my collection.
