DIY Canapes
I’m having a few neighbors over in a bit to see the new (almost finished place) and I wanted to have some bites ready to accompany the glass (or three) of wine we’ll have. Not in the mood for something complicated so I’m throwing together some canapés with simple fresh ingredients, including some super-cute quail eggs. By the way, if there's a very subtle difference in taste between quail and chicken eggs, I’m not picking it up, but they’re the perfect size for an appetizer! 😜I know I’m supposed to be buying local but when it’s the middle of winter but feels like spring, it’s nice to have a break from apples, pears and citrus fruit, so yay for hothouse 🍓 and 🍒 from 🇳🇿!
