Trying Wendy's Japan unique Japan Only Menu. A Japanese fast food chain collaboration with First Kitchen creating a unique Japan Wendy's First Kitchen Fast food experience all of it's own. I try Wendys japan only menu in Wendy's mukbang style in a Wendy's in Tokyo. Wendy's is one of the many Japanese Fast Food chains. We try unique items like the Wendy's Cheese Bacon Egg Burger, BBQ Pulled Pork Burger, Beef Check Cream Spaghetti, Lobster Bisque Bread Bowl Soup, Ice Cream Zenzai, Wendy's Umami Chicken Tatsuta Burger, Wendy's Wild Rock, Wendy's Wendy's Mushroom Melt Burger and Wendy's Burnt Butter Soy Sauce Flavor Fries.

Wendy's entered the Asian market by opening its first restaurants in Japan in 1980, in Hong Kong in 1982, and in the Philippines and Singapore in 1983. In 1984, Wendy's opened its first restaurant in South Korea.

Wendy's closed down all of their 71 shops in Japan in 2009 but later reopened in 2011 but it wasn't until in 2015 when Wendys purchased the fast-food brand first-kitchen, merging all of the stores in what we see today, the Wendy's-First Kitchen hyrbid stores.

Wendy's is an American international fast food restaurant chain founded by Dave Thomas on November 15, 1969, in Columbus, Ohio. The company moved its headquarters to Dublin, Ohio, on January 29, 2006. As of 2016, Wendy's was the world's third largest hamburger fast food chain with 6,500+ locations, following Burger King and McDonald's. On April 24, 2008, the company announced a merger with Triarc Companies Inc., a publicly traded company and the parent company of Arby's. Despite the new ownership, Wendy's headquarters remained in Dublin. Previously, Wendy's had rejected more than two buyout offers from Triarc. Following the merger, Triarc became known as Wendy's/Arby's Group, and later as The Wendy's Company.

As of January 2, 2017, there were a total of 6,537 locations, including 330 that are company-owned. 6,207 restaurants are franchised, and 77% of them are located in North America. While Wendy's sets standards for exterior store appearance, food quality, and menu, individual owners have control over hours of operations, interior decor, pricing, staff uniforms, and wages.

I will be in Japan next week. I can't wait to try Wendy's menu. I don't see the nuggets and chili on their menu, those are my go-to combo. I will definitely try the pasta and the floats.

That blueberry yogurt float looks great! The only real dessert at Wendy's in the states is their Frosty. I only wish they had all these yummy flavors like blueberry and matcha.

The BREADBOWL looks soo good!! Always fun to compare fast food joints all over the world. We just did something similar with McDonald's in Thailand! :)

I remember when Wendy's had the "Super Bar" innovation in the 1980s-1990s, and just had all sorts of things, and I just loaded up on the super-fresh tacos and fixings there....that plus a huge drink was a big meal for lunch during the time I was going to high school. Yes, we were one of the last high school classes that were allowed to leave campus for lunch (since became both a literal and figurative prison).

When I lived in Japan from Dec 93 to Dec 96 I couldn't afford to eat at wendy's if we did have money we would almost always get Japanese food or something local. I did on occasion eat at Subway and we would frequent McDonald's a lot
