Always locked off, or with a gimbal (moving). The lack of IBS is the biggest miss with it, otherwise it’s a BRILLIANT camera. The footage is beautiful. Especially with the Eterna filter! But moving with it, handheld shots…forget it. Even with very stable hands, you’re gonna’ have issues. In a tripod, it’s great.

I have the same connector problem with my Fuji X-A5. I found a nice little hard adaptor that my Saramonic mic plugs right into. Love Fuji cameras but the ZV-1 is a real video beast and super hard to beat.

Its funny I'm always going through these exact same thoughts. Just recently picked up the a7c coming from the x100v and zv1 combo lol. Still have the zv1. I may sell it? But it also might be the perfect b cam/second companion camera to my A cam/a7c. I also stream, and these guys nowadays hook up easily and perfectly to obs and two angles is always better than one. Plus the gyro stabe is a nice added bonus. Not sure if ill stay this route, but I'll know soon enough. The two new fuji cameras actually have me intrigued as well. But the a7c is obviously better in lowlight and auto focus. Just have always loved fuji as a photographer

Also the gyro stabe is pretty impressive. You just have to run it though the program. If you need it wider then is ab adapter lens that seems to solve that issue

Hard and sad facts with youtube is that 99% of context is about equipment and 1% photography. And do not misunderstand me, I do not blame you for that matter. That's just how its become.

Apparently the new Fujifilm x-e4 will have a flip up screen. You can buy that iirig mod to show the rear screen on the x100v or just use the oly

Hi Eric. ZV1 looked better as an all round video machine auto focus looked great in my opinion.
The X100V is a fantastic photo centric camera and video at a push ....obviously needing a tripod or gimbal for hand held vlogging.. my opinion I agree with your switch to X100V over xpro. The ZV1 is small enough to stick in your pocket and carry everywhere. But when your out with your buddy the X100V will more than hold it’s own . I think both cameras should be part of your every day content and image taking . 👍🇬🇧

Seriously sir, in video ZV1 is way much better than fujifilm x100v. There are limitations in fujifilm camera not to mention its price. Anyway thank you for this video. I guess i’m sticking with my ZV1.

No! Can’t use the x100v for vlogging! Too cropped in, too jiggly. Olympus seems to be the best for vlogging at this point. I think you should keep the zv1 for pocketability but have a plan to upgrade it. It seems to be the weak link. The other cameras you have will stand up without requiring upgrades.

Sony a7c...tamron holy trinity, for sorts you can use crop mode and get more reach

I have been a Fuji shooter, but in this test, stick with the Sony!
