Mountain Lion Stalking Man In Wheelchair

This is the last portion of an encounter at the San Diego zoo between a mountain lion (puma) and a man in a wheelchair. Not recorded is the first encounter, when a group with a man in a wheelchair (with a broken leg) passed by. One puma was very relaxed with it, but the other immediately started stalking what he determined to be the weakest of the group, triggering the hunting instincts.

The filming began when the group returned, and the puma returned to stalking mode.

They are majestic creatures, but at their hearts, they are hunters and never lose that instinct!
