The Xiaomi 14T Pro Leaves a Bad First Impression

The Xiaomi 14T Pro dropped last week and we've had a few days to play around with it to be able to give our initial impressions.

While it definitely has some flagship internals, which includes a kick-ass processor and a really great display, some of the pieces don't quite add up for Xiaomi's affordable flagship offering.

Wanted to add something to my Huawei P20 Pro, P30 Pro and Mate 40 Pro. Can not afford the high end Huaweis anymore so was contemplating the Xiaomi 14 Ultra but the camera results convinced me to get the 14T Pro and so far, no regrets whatsoever.

Having problems with 2.4 wifi .. no jnternet always ans diaconnects.. while it works on other phones normally.. and 5ghz works normally.. help ?

I would love it if they got rid of the "camera lens" for the flashlight and did away with the ultra wide. Just keep it to two camera lens. Also the rectangle that contains the camera lens could be flatter (to reduce the thickness of the phone) and smaller. Just make the camera grouping as discrete as Motorola.

Hi! I just bought the 14T Pro! I love the dual camera feature but even when selfie mirroring is switched off, the selfie mirrors in dual camera mode... any idea how to solve this, please?

With the 12tpro I can grip the full phone perfectly in one hand, how much thicker is the 14tpro? Flat sides are ok but pointless with a curved back, I like the 14T design better although it's a plastic frame.

Thats joke, the S24 Ultra is chunkier than 14T Pro its 8.6mm compared to 8.39mm

i'm still going to buy it coming from xiaomi 12 lite 5g which has fantastic camera, sleek design and lightweight form factor. I think 14T is the balanced option for its cameras, gaming and battery. I like the honor 200 pro too but the front camera of the honor is too overprocess it feels like you have put a contact lens on your eyes lols 😅😆🤭

Tbh xiaomi is great. Bought the phone for around 700€, and they gave me a free vaccuum. Never had anything such as this. Feels good.

Yeahhh the T series isn't great in terms of looks but I've learnt to look past that because there's so much that it offers
