In this episode of the Perspective Prog. based on Ukraine-Russia Conflict. Russia has sought immediate talks to secure clear legal agreements that Nato will not expand eastwards. This was conveyed by Russian President Vladimir Putin to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday. This came a day after G7 Foreign Ministers and EU representative issued a statement condemning Russia’s military build-up and aggressive rhetoric towards Ukraine. A build-up of Russian military troops along Ukraine and Russia's shared 1,200-mile border has raised the tensions in the area. Ukraine and Russia share hundreds of years of cultural, linguistic and familial links. As part of the Soviet Union, Ukraine was the second-most powerful Soviet republic after Russia, and was crucial strategically, economically and culturally. Ever since Ukraine split from the Soviet Union, both Russia and the West have vied for greater influence in the country in order to keep the balance of power in the region in their favour.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of this situation, one thing is VERY clear: The Media in the UK is only interested in promoting an anti-Russia/pro-Ukrainian perspective. Listening to the views of most people I speak with, the Media is achieving its objectives.

Its just a bluff by Putin.
troops stationed near ukraine border but its just a showoff.
Is he really wanted war, he his top ministers would not have travelled to India when their country's border is on boil.
Its just a pressure tactic.
and he is right in doing this, nobody wants rival at very door step.
NATO should also take Russias concern seriously.

PRESENT TENSED

There has always been a kind of war like situation in the world, sometimes the Indo- pak conflict and sometimes the US China or Russia which always make things worrysome not only between the disputed nations but the whole world are the sufferers here.
The heated Taliban takeover in afganistan is not yet come to normalcy when we are seeing the second major crisis between Ukrain abd Russia.
Ukrain - Russia relationship is well known to everyone, they had had a cultural, social and economic bond with each other but the intrest of Russia on black sea region put the relationship between the duo nation contrary . Ukrain protest plus its intrest on Nato also made the matter worse as Russia never wants any kind of military risk at the door of their borders .
Russia's annexation in Cremia plus it's deployment in Ukraine border puts risk all over the world and therefore made US to come in the middle to warn Russia. USA also said that it will barr Russia from economic benefits if they take any action.
Hefty tension is there in the world as we are just trying to put one another down. But we must know that the end result would be worse for everyone . We must aspect UN and ICJ involvement on this and wish fir a stability and growth as well.

If nato arms Ukraine like this continuously , then it'll be like another mini pakistan for Russia

probably im being naive here, but why can¨t a country like Ukraine step out of their relation to Russia (if its a democratic decision), without Russia is "whining about it" for lack of a better word... If a country in EU chooses to leave the union, it might be complicated, but its not like the other countries are threatening to invade or anything :P seriously i really don¨t understand this conflict. If the people of a country in the east wants to be part of Nato, then yes you could say that "Nato is expanding to the east", but its not a hostile aggression it is the choice of the democratic vote in that country..

whats cause war? "even two person individual, two house and among nation if one faction know wecan defeated other then war is sure" may be this knowing is due to lack of assessment of other powers properly. if they know we are equal then agreement sure, jule🙏🙏🙏
