This was close to flawless. Not only was Maddie's technique absolutely incredible, but she really embodies her character and used the music to her advantage. I mean look! Her arms are moving like branches and she's very open and flluid but also strong like an old tree. She was amazing!

That last turn sequence that transitioned right into the illusion was just...wow. Gorgeous. Her musicality here was fantastic. Her facials weren't cheesy or over-the-top. They were gentle and tranquil, just like the song. She did an amazing job! :)

WOW!!!! I have seen all of Maddie's solos, well, atleast all the one's on Dance Moms. And this is by far HER BEST SOLO!!! It was freaking amazing! Many moves were different than the usual choreo including; turns, jump sequences, and transitions Just so powerful, her emotion was right on point with the words. Her ability to connect with music using her body and face is really what makes her stand out from the rest..

This is one of my favorite solos that Maddie has done. Her body control is flawless. She also worked on her toes a lot (better pointe). 0:56 was a really hard move that she pulled off fantastically. When she stopped and put her hand over her heart at 1:21, it really made me take in the beauty and perfection of this solo. I also like the addition of a ponche at 1:32. It really showed her flexibility and it corresponded with the music greatly.

This solo actually made me cry. Maddie has the power to “involve” her audience. She dances from the heart. It’s a rare and unique quality. Hence why she is deservedly a star. I personally cannot WAIT to see her perform again outside of Dance Moms. ❤️🥰😘

So unique. When she improv's it's so powerful and unique, when she needs grace, that's exactly what she shows. She's just special, a prodigy. You always connect with her, she connects with everyone watching her. She is beautiful. This is the best solo by her. She can do more than soppy lyrical. Very expressive. 💕

Another killer solo from this kid!! OMG sure shes got great technique thats a given, but shes not perfect by any means. No, its WHAT SHE DOES WITH THE SOLO. How she makes other people feel when she dances... She has a lightness, a transparency, effortless grace, smooth subtle transitions, and beautiful musicality that allows her to really feel the music and translate that feeling to her audience, Shes a stickler for details and nuances... its not just the flashy tricks, its those little details ...placement of the hands, expression changing in context to the lyric and/or the composition of the song. While I think abby has blinders when it came to maddies flaws, SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT ON THE MONEY WHEN SHE SAID this kid has it all, she has it. That special something that can be honed thru hard work and sacrifice, but never taught. I really hope that she goes back to her original goal-- to be a broadway star!! There is something so visceral in theatre. Its an artform. thats where maddie belongs..TV and movie stars come and go.... their a dime a dozen but theatre stars are elite performers. They cant just edit edit edit-- NO a cast on a broadway production is a living breathing collaboration EVERY TIME THEY PERFORM ON STAGE. I think she will never reach her full potential in kids shows or small part in movies..And chances are get lost in the sea of other tween wannabes.. GET BACK TO THEATRE

She danced very well and in my own opinion this is her best performance. You can tell she put so much hard work into this. Also, whoever did the choreography for this is excellent.
