Between 2011 and 2020, green banks in the United States invested approximately $1.9 billion and leveraged $5.1 billion in private capital investment, for a total investment of $7 billion. These banks have driven down emissions, created jobs, and increased accessibility to clean energy solutions—critical achievements that must be quickly scaled to address the climate crisis. Join C2ES for a webinar, where we will discuss our forthcoming “Closer Look” report, which examines lessons learned from established subnational green banks, provides recommendations for these banks, as well as insights for how subnational experiences can inform the establishment of a new national climate bank.

This webinar will provide an overview of the report and perspective from key leaders at subnational green banks at the forefront of catalyzing the investment needed for the clean energy transition.
