In this captivating Music Video, we aimed to capture the authenticity and rawness of one single take, embracing the imperfections that were common in productions in the past. We believe that these imperfections are an art form in themselves, reminding us of the early days of filmmaking in our pacific context. Additionally, we explore a thought-provoking conflict between traditional and contemporary elements symbolized by the Selu-Tuiga vs the Red gloves as worn by the female dancers. These two symbols represent the impact of modern society and the fluidity of female hand movements. Despite this conflict, we showcase how we, as modern individuals, continue to move and express ourselves - challenging Western perspectives whilst continuing to embrace our indigeneity.
