Something that comes to mind after watching this takes me to a specific part in the film Collateral with Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx, where halfway into the film after learning that Cruise is an assassin for hire he destroys his briefcase containing information of his targets. Unable to continue his work Cruise then sends Foxx's character into a Latin nightclub having him pose as a hitman for sake of anonymity to obtain a backup of information of his required targets. Jamie Foxx, scared out of his mind, expresses that he couldn't bring himself to the task of meeting the crime boss out of fear that he would be killed. Cruise mentions to him that he will kill his mother in her hospital room if he doesn't comply. Foxx now distraught and his mind racing, manages to pull himself together after Cruise says to him "It'll be ok Max. Take comfort in the fact that you never had a choice." My favorite line in the film that I refer back to whenever I'm faced with having to make a difficult decision in life.

I've been going through the five steps to beat the anxiety you have an earlier video and right now I can consistently walk up to girl ask for any irrelevant information and give a compliment before I leave. It is HUGE step for me who could barely talk to a store clerk growing up

This guy is far and beyond the most compelling person in this space, the others all seem somehow... smarmy? This dude seems down to earth by contrast. Still don't know if actually trying this is for me but...thinking about it

Problem with anxiety is : it never ever really goes away, even if you beat it today, it will come back tomorrow or some other day :(

I didn’t have anxiety, but it gradually built up over time as I got more and more insults and offensive rejections. I felt myself pretty good as a person before I tried cold approaches, but the trauma I got is still with me. Probably now I need some professional help with my developed mental illness.

I have approach anxiety, but I like telling myself that generally girls in university like being approached (if it’s done confidently, without neediness, maybe in a witty or creative manner). guess I’m a pretty good looking dude have some things going for me… so I should do more approaches when covid restrictions and online studying will be over and we go back to university

Yes, I would still the approach anxiety in that hypothetical scenario, under great stress and duress. Will I be cocky, funny and flirtatious - hell no.

I'm glad I have approach anxiety because, most of the girl's I encounter on a daily basis isn't worth approaching

I remember when I was just starting to approach cute chick's. It felt like a nuclear bomb of emotions came over me. Things you've never felt come to the surface when you first start not to mention you'll get "I'm actually 17" a lot 😂. I literally didn't even know what to say the first time I heard that, it was the last thing I was expecting to hear from a chick

How I like to do it is 1) these aren't my waters, she doesn't matter because I won't see her after today 2) she is just practice for the real location where I plan to really meet girls 3) I'm going to meet a female friend who I'm going to flirt with and if she gets turned on, happy accident lol

I've been in the game for about a decade but I'm still curious what you guys and what Todd thinks; how often should we text or call a girl? I tend to say 1-2 times per week. What say you? And this is a girl you haven't yet made love to. I don't want to be "out of sight, out of mind" but I also don't want to be the chode that blows up her phone and gives his power away. As Todd said, falling in love is something someone does to themselves in someone's absence. Want the girl to miss, wonder about, and crave me.
