The interesting thing about Ford that I never see anyone mentioned-mainly for not sure where the info came from even though it’s on the GF wiki-is the fact he originally was called cousin Tim meaning the twist of Stan having a twin despite all the theories about it was not set and stones. He was always supposed to be a family member but given how early in the show this flashback is this was likely meant to originally be Stanley, but the book now fully retconning it as Ford is really cool since not only would this be his technical first appearance before the end of Not What He Seems, but Ford gotta be a case of “a retcon that actually benefits the story” (Though I don’t think anyone will ever be able to explain Stan’s memories in Dreamscapes cause uh- yeah those are inconsistent to what we learn about him and Ford later, mainly in his appearance)
