Hidden Gems: Platinum Rolex Yacht-Master

We love the Yacht-Master 16622 because, unlike the current production model, it features platinum on both the bezel and dial. Would you wear this hidden gem from the Rolex back catalog?

aside from the new Daytonas and 1908..this was the Rolex that used Plat material..which is really great. I got this instead of a sub because it's a dressed up version and dint want to be like everyone else before. I still have it, and it looks great on the wrist. Easy to wear since they share the same case style with he Daytona at 40m. Love that Im usually the only one wearing it, when everybody is wearing the Sub in black

Why doesn't the engraved rolex letters line up with the second markers on the inside

These are so underappreciated and don't look great online. In person it's such a stunning watch. I went to pick up a submariner and grabbed one of these instead. Ended up buying the sub anyway a few months later because I couldn't scratch the itch. I will say they need to be kept in good condition. Some Rolex look just as good beat up, these don't.

The black dial with rubber bracelet is asking $28, 000 on Rolex website. More in the store. And a long wait.
I say no thanks. I'm not paying $35K for such a lovely watch. There are alternatives.
