You've described what I am currently going through exactly! I am glad you were able to heal your body by focusing on your body and health holistically! I hope my flare also comes under control soon.

thank you for posting this video! i have been struggling with eczema on my eyelids & the occasional nose/ upper lip… there are many days when i feel very insecure about my appearance because of eczema. I recently booked an appointment with my doctor to see if there any food or environmental allergies that may contribute to it but never really considered the stress that may have caused this to happen! I woke up one morning with a flare up as well and have been struggling to make it go away for a couple months now. Now that I look back on it there are many factors that may have contributed to this (breakups, grief, work stress, &etc). I loved hearing your story & your journey through this😊

Again thank you so much for making a video about your experience! It’s very important to bring awareness towards eczema as it can impact an individuals mental state. Just being able to see that you’re not the only one struggling brings a little comfort as a I continue on this journey to healing ❤️‍🩹

Thank you for sharing! It’s so frustrating when the flare ups happen and you’re trying to figure out what the trigger was all over again. I hope you continue sharing more of your experience.

Did the dermatologist help at all? They usually don't. Seems they don't really know much about eczema.

Hi queen! I just want to say I am soooo happy that you were able to recover. I’m going through the same thing right now but it’s not eczema but rather it’s called TSW or Topical Steroid Withdrawal. By the look of it, you might have went through TSW without knowing it because what you had is how I look like at the moment.

Wow, I resonate with this so much. Even though this video has been posted for a year it is helping me bring hope to my flare up, so thank you for your courage to share! A few weeks ago, I had a first time eczema and rash outbreak on my body and face, complete with swollen eyes and lips. You hit the nail on the head when you said it was hard to do anything because you didn’t feel like you. I didn’t leave my house and wanted to cancel everything; mentally it’s been tough. Thankfully I am getting allergy tested today and my derm prescribed a non steroidal topical which has been helping. I am also focusing on my gut health in addition to minimizing sugar, alcohol, stress and increasing probiotics/prebiotics and hydration. Our bodies are so honest and I want to get to the root of the problem to mitigate this from happening in the future. Question… how do you manage stress now as it is an inevitable part of life? I don’t want to stress about when I stress but I do in fear of triggering another flare up.

This is hopeful! I feel like I can trust what she says because there isn't a random product being promoted.

Hey Ruchika! Thank you for sharing your story! So good to hear you're doing better! I had a similar experience, where doctors did unfortunately not help. A DNA sequencing finally helped. Even if "stress" is the trigger, there can be - easily treatable with vitamins - underlying predispositions. Keep on glowing!

I think student teaching then my first salary teaching job gave me the most severe eczema flare on my face and hands of my entire life.
Anyone else been going through their flare for over a year?? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Ruchika! Thank you for sharing so much of everything you have experienced. You know I have shared a few things about similar experiences when it comes to eczema. It's the vulnerability that you continue to share, that supports so many of us wanting small tips, more healing and someone to relate. Thank you sister!

Hi Ruchika! I just found this video from your TikTok as I have been on a non stop spiraling hole of eczema tok. I think I’m literally going through the exact same thing you are going through. I am 21 years old and I have had eczema ever since I was born but up until about 2 weeks ago, it has NEVER been this bad. I also went to test myself for fungal infections and allergies. One doctor thought it was scabies but a dermatologist told me it was not scabies but rather eczema. I think stress may also me by trigger but I honestly have no idea. I go back to college in a couple of days so I think that may be my trigger, being stressed to go back to school but I can’t exactly drop out of college…I know we are 2 different people but if you have any advice at all to share…I would greatly apppreciate🙏

This video really helped me. I keep thinking my rash is an allergy or food intolerance, but it is probably emotional, stress and overworking

Okay researching from my experiences having eczema myself i think eczema is much more than a nightmare its a trauma because if you have survived the eczema chances are (you can expect) it comes back (could be even worse) but if you think positive you can get throught this you can heal it not just once but twice. I have an eczema patch on the back of my foot again and want to get over this and i get very concerned about it spreading anywhere else. Last time it took me almost seven years to get rid of the patch and its back again with the season. I also feel it is a little worse than before but i have hopes of healing it like last time.
