Linkin Park and Green Day stopped shows many times to protect their fans. Both great bands that actually care about people, especially their fans.

It’s so great to see artists actually care about their fans and that they’re not just performing for the money

It wasn't to save anyone, but I was at a Breaking Benjamin show and Ben stopped a song after seeing a sign a woman had saying her husband was a fan, but overseas on deployment. He actually borrowed the woman's phone to send a message to him, with a video with the whole audience cheering.

Linkin Park definitely looked out for their fans whenever they toured. That is just how deep the love goes between a band and their fanbase. Major respect all around.

Man, Linkin Park and Slipknot had stopped so many shows due to many medical issues. It just shows how much they care for our safety

I was at a music festival many years ago where Filter and Sevendust both called out men harassing women during the show. I think it was Filter that said "treat the ladies like you would treat your mother's and if you treat your mother's like sh**, get the f*** out because you have no place at our show!" It was phenomenal 🤘👏

Honourable mention: Backstreet Boys. At one of their recent concerts, someone had a heart attack and the group stopped singing to address the issue and explain that CPR was needed to be performed on the audience member and that 911 needed to be called

I’ve seen My Chemical Romance live 2 days in a row. Both days they set aside a few moments to tell people in the pit to back up to prevent anyone getting crushed. I love how they took the time to write it into their set.

Y’all should’ve used the clip of Green Day’s lead singer literally drop kicking an audience member for s*xually harassing a young female in the crowd. He was told multiple times to stop, but proceeded to become more handsy and belligerent with the young girl. Billie stopped mid performance, asked the ‘man’ if he wanted to fight, backed up a few steps after removing his guitar, proceeded to LAUNCH himself off the stage, and beat the daylights out of that creep. Normally I don’t encourage violence BUT s*x pests/rapists deserve it.

I've never seen anyone save a person like that, but I have two stories from the Dropkick Murphys, and both from the same show. One, there was a guy in a wheelchair crowdsurfing, and from what I saw, the crowd took immense care to get through safely. Second, at the last song (when DK brings fans onstage), someone made a Nazi Salute. Ken Kasey immediately went over, punched the guy, stopping the song, and as the person was ejected, he yelled "Nazis are not welcome at a Dropkick Murphys show!"

When I saw Disturbed in Lincoln, NE in 2018, some girl accidentally got clocked in the head during a mosh pit. The guy immediately felt bad, and David saw it happen. He stopped the show, and actually made his way down to the pit to see if she was ok. She was, thankfully, and the guy was apologetic. David then told the crowd not to be rough in the mosh pit.

It's not just the awesome bands and artists on this list that show how much they care for their fans. Years back during a Three Days Grace show i overheated and felt like i couldn't breathe i managed to get through the crowd thanks to several people noticing something wrong and when i got to the lobby trying to get as much air as i could and trying to calm down, this bartender lady came over and gave me a water bottle and rubbed my back to help me calm down while a tough looking security guy was there in case i needed more help. I was so grateful to them for helping me and when i got back to watch the rest of the show I stayed in the back towards the exit just in case, several people asked if i was alright. Ironically i went down while they were playing "Painkiller"

And then you have Travis Scott. An artist who stopped the show because he lost his shoe and yet he couldn't stop the Astroworld festival to save his fans.

I was at a concert years ago where Set it Off, Falling in Reverse and Black Veiled Brides were playing. During Falling in Reverse's set they were tossing t-shirts to the fans. At one point they threw a shirt to a female fan and a guy next to her wanted it so he elbowed he really hard and I think she fell down. The band stopped immediately and looked over at the two. They said the guy was a jerk and made sure that the girl was alright. Luckily she didn't need medical attention and they made sure she got the shirt.

I have so much respect for these artists who actually care about their fans wellbeing and not for anything else. They want all of their fans to enjoy the gig and to go home from it in one piece.

There should be an honorable mention for a Disturbed concert where a little girl near at the front of the audience started crying because she got really scared. Apparently the fire scared her, but David Draiman checked on the little girl, apologized and comforted her, while making sure her parents were ok as well. At a later concert, he spotted her in the audience again, and actually invited her onstage with the band. The gentle kindness shown to that little girl warms my heart every time I watch that video.
