Nothing like watching an old timer who is not only a master of his craft, but loves what he does. Excellent.

It wasn't a long wait, but I've been waiting for this. I love western gun rigs. Wish I had more call for them. My favorite is the Hand Of God. I made one for a customer in Texas. He has the same gun, but didn't know the movie at the time lol. Ghormley is a good guy too. You can contact him with questions and even get the exact hardware that was in the movie.

If I could make one suggestion it would be to back off the exposure some on your camera so we can see the stuff you are working on, its way over exposed and we cant see anything like lines or what the pattern even looks like.
I bet Weaver might buy ya one of them new fangled 4k cameras ;-)
You always do such great work my friend, love your videos always

Chuck, have you ever made a quick draw rig?
I have a Buscadero rig with a quick draw holster, it's cut low in the front of the holster so it's much easier to clear. I hired a guy to make it for me many years ago and freakin LOVE it, the guy knew his stuff. He's long gone now but he was a master leathercrafter. I may make a copy of it so I have an extra incase mine ever comes apart, but with the quality it's doubtful it ever will lol.

I’m a new subscriber to your channel. I’ve been binge watching a lot of your videos. I’ve been wanting to do leather crafting for some time now. My question is, can you tool on already finished and completed leather?

Nice rig!! I have a question though. At 13:12 you dip-dyed the holster, and then at 17:21 the flesh side didn’t look like it was dip-dyed at all. Did you have to make another one?

Nice project Chuck. Do you ever shoot that gun? Doesn’t look like it’s ever been shot! Quick note: if you lined the inside of the holster, you will get less rub on the blue of your gun. Plus the “bend over” would blend better and look like it’s part of the finished holster. Good luck with that gun rig and be careful with the gun.

What’s the leather weight (9oz?) of the holster body?

Just a question, I recently moved across country and did not bring my can of s18. I found it on Amazon but weaver cannot find. Does weaver no longer carry s18?
