This is a topic that isn’t black and white. There’s a big difference between Christian memes that joke about relatable things in Church and our Church culture (much of which is developed apart from scripture) and “memes” that make mockery of Scripture and God. There’s also a difference between laughing with and laughing at. We shouldn’t jump to extremes just because we feel some type of way. For some, this will be convicting, for others, this will be food for thought. Both are valid and shouldn’t be demanded of everyone

Christian memes and Christian jokes aren’t bad, they are bad when they go against the word of God, when they mock God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. They are bad when the being down the impact of God, Jesus or the Gospel, sometimes(not all of the time) these jokes bring down the impact of God and his word.

Im actually glad a video like this is up, not just for “Christian memes” or something but memes in general. I am so Dry and Dark Humored and Have spent literal.. Days worth of hours looking at meme compilations. To the point where life was a meme, gimme anything, I can make it a meme. I even made Twitch Clips of my friends Failures of Funny moments into Memes, I can’t fully explain it how I did the impossible but it was so funny and sometimes I would be Borderline Bannable because of my memes, because they almost became attacks in a way. Having a Sharp tongue.. means “Virtually” the same if you catch my drift. Taking the Lord more seriously made me practically stop almost all “Memes or Dank Memes” i was making. Even Dark Humor, Dry Humor, Insulting others (Roasting) including cursing and yeah I asked myself.. GOD Is holy and so should I, so.. it took a lot of reflection but, I cut off most of it. I am not perfect but having the fear of the lord and conviction of the holy spirit led me this far in this aspect. Honestly I’m as Broken as a shattered mirror. It enrages me the hours spent on the Dumbest Foolish things on this planet today.
