I think an 18 month timeline of events for Tesla is a better way to see and understand change for tech, costs, volume, and other expected events along the way. It beats report cards from analysts and similar forgotten declarations.

Robotaxi will be ahead of Optimus for 4 more years. You have to think like a salesman. Robotaxis will get a huge sales boost from FSD. Once everyone is fully aware of what FSD can do, people (legislators and potential customers), will get behind Robotaxi and make it catch fire. Optimus will first fly to Mars before people get excited about robots but like FSD Mars will give Optimus clout. After that Optimus sales will explode.

Every cybertruck being made is losing $$, and will continue to lose until production is ramped way up closer to full capacity. At least 12 months away...probably longer than that based on the weak, slow production of everything coming out of TX. The Austin plant continues as a money pit at least through 2025.
