The maha-mantra: 'Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare; Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare; awakens the heart to its divine nature, and brings about joy and true inner satisfaction.

He sees the trees and birds as his dearest friends, as they sing along with him! In this state he realises that he has no need of any material possessions - he is fully nourished by the sacred sound of God's names.

I cry every single time I listen to this song. I know very few about this culture, I barely know what this song means. But I just feel a really deep connection to this, and my soul just feels healed afterwards. It’s a feeling that nothing else in this world gives me. It’s pure joy but also a pinch of sadness, as if I’m leaving something behind but also finding what I’ve always been looking for. It’s magical, that’s the best way to put it. I’d give anything to be in a room full of people listening to this, just like in this video.
