S7 could've released one core/original Simpsons character each wave. For me I was out until the original versions of the Simpsons were released. To me it looks dumb to have other versions before the original ones. Since the line is ending I'm out. Even if S7 gives us in waves 3&4 the originals. I am surprised S7 went the route of not giving us as you say heavy hitters. Every other line that's how S7 starts.

Blast! I wasn't aware that this line was cancelled 😢 I was really looking forward to the release of more figures. They really did seem to be the ultimate version of the characters. No pun intended.

As you mentioned, I'm not sure if I'm going to bother buying the remaining waves now. I have the entirety of the first wave but, I only have two of them on display; Astronaut Homer and Moe.
My plan was to devote a Detolf cabinet to this line. Now, I might end up using it for a bunch of different toylines. Some Universal Monsters, Popeye and the like.

It’s so dumb that this wasn’t a standard Bart with Bartman accessories. Super7 really made some odd choices with this line and unfortunately killed it off early. Hopefully the new line from Jakks Pacific is better.

I was excited for this wave but it sucks that super 7 lost the license to The Simpsons I was all in until I heard that I was disappointed

Subpar 7 should have done exactly as you said; distribute the family members across the first 4 waves, just as they did TMNT ultimates. Their actions are demonstrative of ego, ignorance or contractual obligation. If it’s a belief in loyalty to the Super7 brand, that’s arrogance. Oh well, add this to the failures that were Whoopie Goldberg (🤮) NJPW and Disney….

It’s a good thing that my finances were not up to par when this was initially announced which made me skip this line because I would hate to be picking all these up just to have the line cancelled. It disappointed me when they cancelled some of the figures from Power Rangers so yeah it sucks for the people who collecting this line.
