I've listened to Nerina's music since the beginning; thanks to her beautiful music I was able to get through secondary school which encompassed bullying and depression, as well as many other life problems. This song is no exception! I'm not joking when I say she's my favourite and most inspirational singer of all time! :)

I was lucky enough to see Nerina perform live, while supporting Suzanne Vega, years ago in Salisbury. Wow what a surprise! Just her and a piano. Great talent. This takes me back to that day. And I have a personally signed Fires CD. Nice to see her talent mature.

Hearing this recently at Zedel gave me chills - so beautiful. One note for this video - a few sections appear to be out of sync. 0:56 "wise..." 1:01 "breath..." 1:25 "your whole life..." 2:09 "I hope you stay...". Maybe it's just me - but they really jumped out for me.
