I thought the video was super informative and explained the Anthropocene really well. So do geologists recognize the 1950 nuclear markers as the GSSP for the Anthropocene?

The post is well done, especially as far as the graphics are concerned, but the pronunciation is just too indistinct. Otherwise very good!

Id argue plastic makes a better marker for the Anthropocene. But i am open to other thoughts

Perhaps they should call it the plastocene for microplastics in the sediment.
