Homeowners need to sue the city for causing these problems

We have an open lot in my neighborhood and every week we have to call the police to remove homeless people who are setting up tents in it. It's not abandoned, it's owned by the two homeowners on both sides of it. They let kids in the area use it to play sports and people have cookouts there. We have to stay on top of it every day and call the police. Thankfully our local police are able to remove them before other homeless people start showing up. When you see a homeless person camped on the sidewalk in front of your home cal the police right away .really open lots aren't abandoned they are owned by someone so it's trespassing.

Ruby is a beauty. All you have to do is look to people like her as to why this city has gotten to this point. To everyone here complaining about the garbage, feces and needles in your neighborhoods, I ask, who did you vote for? If you're voting for people that are tolerating dysfunction and crime, you have nobody to blame but yourself.

Most of the homeless don’t want help nor is any forcing them to be. And that dude would save up money quicker if he didn’t spend on the meth he is smoking.

We had a huge homeless encampment in my backyard at Powderhorn Park back in the summer of 2020, after they all got kicked out of the Sheridan Motel, after they trashed that place. We had 800 hundred tents and growing. The whole neighborhood was clapping and cheering after they all got kicked out of our park. I never cleaned up so much poop and needles in my life. It was the land of poop, needles and garbage.

I've worked with the homeless and have been homeless. While some forks are clean who fell on financial hard times, many are, well lets just say that they shouldn't be in the neighborhood.

Safety is a huge concern wherever these encampments are allowed..

The Minneapolis Police Officers are doing their job, it's good to see the property taxes going to good use. 👍

Minneapolis leadership (Frey, Ellison, council) and Walz are pathetic. They seem to welcome this.

People chose not to go to detox and clean up but then want you to feel sorry for them I know I've been homeless before for about two days then I heard about detox and sober house's it's not easy but waking up doing drugs everyday is a choice period!!!

Why are they moving these people ? This is what the residents of Minneapolis voted to have.

Bums ruin everything they touch. Neighborhoods, houses, and personal belongings. The front loader scooping up everything they owned and putting it in a dumpster is how EVERY homeless encampment meets its end.
