All three burrows have something unique and special: the first one has great minifigures, the second one is a fantastic playset, the UCS one is full of details and in general it is spectacular. Love them.

The collectors’ Burrow has one major flaw: Ron’s bedroom can’t fit a bed for Harry. He stayed there during four summers and one Christmas and a major aspect of Molly and Arthur’s characters is that they think of Harry as one of their own kids. He really should have had even the smallest possible suggestion of a bed in Ron’s room (2x4 tile on some studs would suffice for me)

I actually prefer the thicker printing because it feels more like lego, but thinner printing is still great, especially when it comes to clothes detail.

Having the OG burrow makes me so glad. My favorite design for Molly, a wonderfully rare minifigure that is Bellatrix, the bush pieces I only saw in games so far; it was a wonderful blast.

If I slept where Ron sleeps according to this set, I would be terrified. His bed is right against the window on the side of the house that is leaning over, I would be in constant fear of falling out of the house😅

So at a guess the reason you don't you don't like Molly's new hair piece in spite of it being molded for her is because it actually wasn't molded for her. Initially it was for Qi'ra from Solo a Star Wars Story. And interestingly while it's first use was in 2018 for Qi'ra it wasn't actually used again for a whole 2 years before it started being used as Molly's hair piece in 2020.

super interesting video, the burrow is 100% a model that has only gotten better over time, but the first 2 are really great sets. Considering how much cheaper the 2020 version is, I now have my eye on that because it is an amazing set and holds up so well, even compared to the collectors edition

I just purchased the 2024 burrow with the newest ford anglia and was super curious about how it compares to the older versions. This video was SO satisfying and interesting to watch! Thank you for comparing minifigures as well- the 2010 Bellatrix is definitely the best and I really loved 2010 Molly's apron. I'm officially even more stoked to build it when it arrives. The only thing that is a little odd to me is Ron's clock collection... I feel like there are plenty of better things that could've gone there like scabbers or a chocolate frog/sweets. I have read the series over 40 times (I got the HP 'tism lol) and Ron couldn't care less about being punctual

Self-washing dishes that wash themselves....when you repeatedly move a feels like some con a mom comes up with to trick her sons into doing the dishes. "They practically clean themselves, you only have to move that stick that is connected to the brush! Look, it's even made out of your Legos!"
