Reminds me of a concretion meaning sediment gathered around in layers over a much more dense small object like a fossil or an igneous rock which then split in half after rolling down a hill or something

It looks like an ancient rock that could have been used as a primitive grinding stone. The raised part being the grinding surface and the outer catching what’s being ground. That’s what it reminded me of at first glance.

I think that this rock makes the best argument for a body of water yet have you ever seen a slug fired from a gun into a water tank? The mushroom effect of the lead looks a lot like this rock that looks like a hat.
