Nice build. I did something similar.
Life Domain Cleric 1/Sorcerer 3/ Lore Bard 8. Twin Haste and then focus on healing. Help with Cantrip like Fire Bolt now and then. Start with Sorcerer for Constitution Saving Throw.
Gear: Head: Helm of Balduran later. Early - Wapira's Crown
Back: Cloak of Protection
Chest: Helldusk Armour later, Early: scale mail +1, then Adamantine Splint Armour, Then Plate Armour +2
Gloves: The Reviving Hands later. Early - Hellrider's Pride
Boots: Evasive Shoes or Vital Conduit Boots. Early - Boots of Aid and Comfort
Amulet: Amulet of Greater Health.
Rings: Ring of Protection or Ring of Salving and The Whispering Promise (Bless for 2 turns for target that get healed).
Weapon: Defenders Flail
Shield: Viconia’s Walking Fortress. Early - Sentinel Shield
Range weapon: Bow of Awareness – because of initiative and I give Hellrider Longbow to someone else in party
In first turn Action Twin haste on my 2 DPS, and then bonus action Mass Healing Word to give everyone Bless and Blade Ward.

This build is especially helpful to use with a party member who isn't your main character/face. Whenever you encounter a difficult skill check, this multiclass can always stack Guidance and Bardic Inspiration together to great effect. Not being the main face also means you can focus your skill proficiencies and expertise in other areas where you might encounter passive checks in the open world, such as Perception or Investigation.

If I was to optimize this build a bit more, I'd recommend going 2 Life Cleric/10 Lore Bard for the Life Domain's Channel Divinity action, which heals your whole party for 3 times your character level and recharges on a short rest. It's also worth it to dump your Wisdom somewhat, since you will mainly be using Charisma as your casting stat and you can fill your Cleric spell slots with spells which simply buff your party without relying on Wisdom, such as Bless, Shield of Faith, and Sanctuary.

With that in mind, I'd probably go for 14/8/17/8/12/16, take Resilient (Con) as your feat, and then add a +2 in your Constitution to get even tankier and maintain concentration on your buffs. If you'd rather use Medium armor you could also use 14 Dex instead of 14 Str, but I like pumping Str more in this case because a lot of the best non-staff support weapons rely on Str for their damage, such as the Defender's Flail, Devotee's Mace, or the Blood of Lathander.

It would be really great to see a video showing how your group works together, especially as you don't seem to have a real up close and personal melee/tank.

Hi, i've been running something like this myself, but i go 6(lore bard) 1(life cleric) and 5(sorc "whatever) to get twincast haste and also steal the paladin heal "Warden of Vitality" as that shit is just broken af on a support bard. I usually respec so i can get the sorc con prof later on. Typical start would be Twin haste the melee/dps sanctuary myself. Next round warden of Vitality and then start healing with bonus action each round and use action for whatever is needed. Yes you dont get hight lvl spells then 3, but you can cast a ton of them and upcast some of them. at max you can also choose to respec and not use lore bard knowledge to get haste and just pick it from the sorclvl5 freeing up a spell to get something else... mass healing word maybe.

I love support type characters. My current run is paladin/sorcerer, paladin/bard, paladin/war cleric, paladin/life cleric. Smites and high ac for days. Lots of buffs/heals. Undead are melted!

This might be a "cheat" of some sort. But you can learn scrolls and get to keep them with only 1 dip in wizard.
My mid-game lvl 6 Shadowheart is rocking a radiating orb debuff ( - attack rolls debuff ), spirit guardians, misty step, a haste spell, destructive wrath, and lightning bolt that will get max damage even if it is INT based.

Great content bro helped me with my shadow heart ❤️

with all of that equipment, the only thing the helmet is doing is giving hunter mark. Fire resist from bow and crit null from armor means now the helmet is useless. love these builds though, will be respecing my shadowheart.

I subscribed after “that’s a big ass heal”.

Change to light domain and get the armor that causes radiant wave or whatever it is. Tacky character that does decent light damage and each radiating orb causes a -1 to hit. Damage avoidance over healing.

If you r using hirelings for the buffs than the best sup is 1 wiz (first make 4 learn haste than reset) 2 sorc for double cast and 9 life cleric. That way you have haste to give 2 people, big heals with 3 (1 from item) cleric passive and high wis. For bless imo haste much more important than that and you can get to 1 person permenant bless anyway not much but yeah.

2 lvl dip in wiz is useful to get diviner rerolls. That's also a nice support feature.

Hm.. Valor bard for superior (imo) bardic inspiration + cap of healing or whatever its called + whisper ring that gives mini bless + the gloves that give blade ward = 1 bonus action?

Never see anyone talk about that combo.

Ayo aoe I was using this build and doing my bless bot thing but when shadowheart goes evil I was thinking a bane bot giving lots of debuffs and using offensive cc and support spells. Take?
