There are MANY, MANY different faucet aerators - either male or female, in half a dozen sizes and across several different thread patterns. It absolutely boggles the mind 😵‍💫, and you almost need a Doctorate in "Threadology" to deal with it. For example, I have three different vanities in the house, and each one requires a different aerator! So how can we be sure this extender will screw right onto the particular faucet for which we purchase it?

I just installed this and after a few hours the water slowed to a trickle. Took it off and the water is full blast. Why would this happen? And where did all that "debris" come from? I inspected everything and see no blockage. The washers are fine. EDIT I put it back on and water is flowing but much less than before. Acceptable but not the strong spray I got at first, with our high water pressure.
