I didn't just fly around on my first playthrough, I literally just played it like a Zelda dungeon and still had fun with it. Still the best dungeon and area to play

Saying 'It’s too open, you can just cheese everything' is the worst argument you could have for this. It’s true, you can easily cheese it, but that doesn’t mean that the dungeon is bad. If you don’t like it when you skip everything (which makes sense), then don’t skip it.

My brain is still stuck on “oh we can fly?” Mode and actually did the temple like it was designed to go… understandably I also forgot ascend was an ability most of the time.

The fire temple was actually my least favorite, I kept getting lost and could not tell you how to go from floor 2 to floor 3 with those minecarts, I just used some cheesy ascends to get where I needed to go after many attempts to do it normally

I’ll be honest, the Goron City questline was the most interesting to me. There was this one NPC somewhere on Death Mountain who mentioned his brother being addicted to the Marbled Rock Roasts. I’ve had to deal with family members having drug and alcohol problems, so I almost started crying when I read this guy’s lines.

It's funny how differently people experience things. The fire temple was my least favorite temple, I kept getting frustrated how obscured my vision was by the ash and soot and embers floating everywhere.

My favorite was the water temple - floating around in low-grav and using bubbles to travel was awesome

My favourite part of the Goron quest is Yunobo's parallels from BoTW. You have to free him from a cave in in BoTW, and use him to free yourself from a cave in in ToTK. In BoTW, Link jumps into Death Mountain to reach Vah Rudania while Yunobo hesitates. In ToTK, Yunobo jumps first.

I feel called out about doing the temple.

After the first 3 gongs, I couldn't figure out the tracks to the last 2. So I just climbed the walls until I was high enough to just glide to them.
