people so mad andy does tricks his opponent can’t do, that’s literally the point of the competition. andy has all the classics too but isn’t gonna waste time when offense switches off regardless of a make. y’all hate but he’s the one putting in the work to consistently land tricks no one’s ever seen before

two tries on defense would improve this contest immensely.

Commentary was pretty much all about Andy. Bordon crushes it as well.

Andy knows so many tricks he has to write them down.

I feel like for the next tournament, if a set is done on the extended quarter, the one trying to copy the set should also have to do it in the extended quarter...

Probably about how a game of skate against Rodney Mullen in the 90s went lol.

for me, 2 tries for defense (like at sldes&grinds) would be much nicer here!! but still like it tho..

For anyone who says that Andy just does "weird" tricks and couldn't hold a candle to any "real" pro skaters haven't watched enough of his content.
Andy chooses to do more creative tricks. He can do tre's, varial heels, switch flips etc. In his Powell video part he back smithed a 20 stair (it might have been more) handrail.
It seems that he just enjoys the more creative/freestyle side of skateboarding.
As far as this game of skate, I agree that the "coping dancing" was un-gentleman-like. But best believe he's just as good as these other pros.
As far as the 5-0 to switch crook? He probably doesn't have that locked in, best believe that if he decided to practice em, he could throw em out every try consistently.

"the button masher" is such an appropriate for a literal 4 trick transition combo, that shits straight out of thps lol

Lotta haters in here but that's how things progress. I remember when the back flip was landed on dirt bikes and a lot of the other guys didn't want it allowed in competition because they couldn't do it, but now moto freestyle is full of people doing back flips. Just gotta flow with the times and except change. Plus dude put up a good fight

merlin twist is sick, but way too low under the coping, for deffense is good but not for offense
also josh did it well, his offense tricks weren´t so offensive

Sad to see so much hate on the kid just for playing his game. Basically everyone says do easier basic tricks so the person they want to win has a chance. Love to see it in the community no room for creativity which is what skateboarding always stood on. Good win Andy

I don't know why but you really got me with, "Can you use that in a sentence?" Bahaha 🤣

He did a grab when Andy didn’t do a grab and got a redo .. when andy didn’t grab he got a letter

Nice game! 1 foot fakie disaster is a Todd Falcon signature move 🦅💥 He was doing them at Lake Owen Woodward in 2002
