So important!! To understand what the words coming out of our month actually means. How it makes us think. About ourselves. About others. Love it, David!!

Totally agree David. By separating TRUST (you have my/our best interest at heart) from competency and dependability, we can have meaningful conversations around methods and procedures without making it personal. You nailed it.

Spot on. It even makes sense in Danish. So many times I’ve been met with a: “don’t you trust me/us” when I’m questioning their decisions. I usually answer that I’m not into giving moral valuations or motive research. I’m just trying to investigate that facts on the situation to find out if they are capable of taking the right decision.

Awesome one David! One word can certainly change everything, something I truly believe and agree with you on! Love your subtle usage of the word confident vs trust
