TKTX Tattoo Numbing Cream Review 2021

Hello Friends! Here's a quick review on the TKTX Green tube 40% numbing cream, 2021 edition.
I used this cream to numb my skin prior to getting a foot tattoo.

Ok Now that you mentioned about the healing. Im working on a big tattoo piece Chest and arm and I am on the 4th session. The 1st I use nothing but second and so on Ive been using TKTX. For me was magical, no pain at all, all the session went great and heal great afterwards. I did noticed the healing process took longer than usual. What used to take 1-2 weeks would take 2 -4 weeks with the lotion. That didn't bother me as much. On my 4th session I use the lotion and maybe have over applied. I applied for 1 hour before the session and then applied more for another 30min during break (IDK why I applied more my arm was already numb). Sure enough when I got home the tattoo was burning more than usual when I shower. A few days later I noticed I got an infection, had to go to the hospital, took antibiotics. As of now I am still healing from the infection. I do see many pieces where I'll need to retouch. At least the infection was on the background and not in the outlines so I am glad didn't affect the lines it self. I dont know if was realted to the lotion. I do recognize that I was negligent taking care of it, but just sharing my experience out there.

How did you wash it off before you got the tattoo? You said water and alcohol? Can you please explain the process? I’m getting microneedling on my face and the instructions don’t say to rub it off but I’m worried about that when it comes to my face. I used the green before for a chest tattoo and didn’t rub it off and everything went fine. I’m more worried about my face than my chest in terms of a bad reaction. Thanks! Great video btw :)

i asked my tattoo artist about numbing cream and she said she doesn’t feel comfortable tattooing me with it same reason your tattoo artist said (doesn’t want me to risk wasting $ and the tattoo healing properly) so hopefully it’s not too bad . she said she would have bactine w/ lidocaine but that’s only when she breaks my skin

i had a question, so after 1 hour of having it on say your on your way to your appointment do you take off the wrap before you go ? and if you do how do you wash it off?

it has epinephrine in it??? does that effect you in any negative way?? And if you use it for a big thigh tattoo do you think you would have any issues??? how long did you leave it wrapped for and how much cream did you put on the area??

Did it affect the texture of your skin? And if yes, did the tattoo artist notice any difference? I plan to use to clean it up method before walking through the door method.

It's alright for short time tattoos but not 5hr plus .

I think she was offended because time is money and she was prepared to tattoo you and took time to book a day so I can understand why she was upset she had to wait for you to get ready and prepare yourself in the shop.
