As a resident of NIagara Falls, I have to insist you do not comeback. For one, throwing things over the falls is illegal and can lead to up to five years in prison. Also, climbing over the fence is a an action that usually leads to arrest as it can endanger yourself or others. Niagara Falls is a state park, by coming to our city and landmark and throwing your toys over for a few views is not worth dying or jail time, find another waterfall.

As an NF, USA resident myself, these types of folks are legit the worst types of tourists. I understand what he was trying to do, but this is so harmful to the environment of the Falls and the river, as well as incredibly dangerous of him to hop that fence. Count yourself incredibly lucky that you weren't arrested by Parks Police, or even the City Police.
