I live in Cornwall and bought this book when it came out. It is an excellent story. It never occurred to me that they would make a film of it, but looking at the trailer it seems to work. And Gillian Anderson? I would never have thought of her for the role but, again, she seems to fit the part. Can't wait to see the movie, the Cornish scenery will be enough to promote the film.

I walked from Westward Ho! to Tintagel a few years ago. It was all I had time for, but I loved it. Beautiful, beautiful walking. I ate like a horse and slept like the dead and I felt more alive than I had in years. I think I even recognize some of the places in this trailer. I hope I can return to the UK some day and walk more of the path.
