I went somewhere recently, thinking I'd feel less lonely. But growing up is so weird, places changing doesn't change what's inside anymore. It used different younger, where you are used to matter. Now, it's like everything's the same old, same old. I want to go hiking again though, loved the way sunset looked waay up. This reminded me of that sunset. Warm, a mix of everything you can't spell.

A little story.
As a kid, my parents got divorced. Their marriage/relationship became unhealthy and my daddy was abusive. I remember everything and the impact it had. Eventually he left, but the damage was done.

There's been struggles with mental health ever since and a strain on family relationships.
2 years ago, no one could get hold of Mum. Maybe she was giving the silent treatment. But she hadn't been to work which was unusual.
My sister and I discovered our beautiful mum at home, lying on her bed... gone.

Too many cold wars over the years. Marriage trouble, family feuds and misunderstanding. I wish I knew what my mum was truly going through. I know she always loved us and we will always love her.
