GCSE Chemistry Revision 'Filtration and Crystallisation'

In this video, we look at filtration and crystallisation, which are both examples of physical separation techniques. First, I discuss how filtration is used to separate an insoluble substance from a liquid. Then we look at how to set up the filtration apparatus. We then look at how to separate a soluble substance from a solvent by crystallisation. Finally, we explore the use of state symbols.

Hi sir, I thought we needed to know more steps for the crystallisation method (e.g. filtering the solution, using an evaporating dish, then heating it gently and finally patting them dry or leaving them in an oven)? Will it not come up as a 6 marker method?
