The fact that men desire women that don't show interest in them, and women lose interest when ignored seems like a good recipe for absolute disconnect! What does one do? Retreat or pursue? If you are in a relationship with a man and show interest or expect a commitment, you make it sound like a relationship just isn't possible because the women will end up hurt, and the man will be looking for emotionally unavailable women. What is wrong with the human brain? This may be one reason why I am single, independent, and celibate... I don't want drama from an emotionally detached, man, who is terrified of commitment! I desire a man who is emotionally available, committed without asking him to be, loyal, funny, has moral values, never wants to be ignored, is honest and open about his feelings, and wants to be best friends with me. Who needs to total disconnect in a relationship? Anything else, just isn't a relationship!
