Polyrhythm Mnemonics on #drums

A bunch of people asked me to demonstrate some more mnemonic phrases for the #polyrhythms

…ask and yee shall receive… even though I’m sick and feel like garbage… hey…
“I Feel Like Sh*t”
is a good one for the 3:2 polyrhythm 🙌🏻 😂

Here are the mnemonics I used:

5:3 - I like to sing but I can't
3:2 - Nice Cup Of Tea
5:4 - I'm Looking For a House To Buy
4:3 - Pass the bread and Butter
7:5 - Pass The Salt and Pepper the food is Tasteless
6:4 - Ding! Fries are Done, Ding! Fries Are Done
7:4 - I Like To Sing By Myself But I Can't

Yeah I've used a variety of these throughout the years, and I feel like back in the day it was more common place for your teachers to (even if they weren't drummers) still have the ability to explain and showcase this too. Using two very different sounds for each hand while saying the mnemonic is the most helpful approach I’ve ever heard

Normally people are tapping their hands on a table, or hitting the same practice pad, and it’s hard to hear which hand hits when
This is the first time I’ve been able to hit 5:4!
I’ve saved the video cuz I’m pretty sure I can get 5:3, 7:5 and 7:4 using this as reference

Only recently have i managed to tap the 4/3 rhythm and was 36 when i did it. And i did it with a silly melody i created in my head.

Do you believe me if I say that I can't find NOTHING like this in Italian language or by Italian drummers/creators? If I write "sentences for polyrhythms" is plenty of results (even by French people) but if I write "frasi per poliritmi in italiano" there isn't a single useful result.

I can play 3:4 well but can only ‘feel it’ in 3. As in the 3 lines up with a metronome. Do you have any tips for that?
