I was privileged to meet Glen Campbell when I was 16 years old. He was traveling through Adam’s County, in Indiana. Glen had stopped at a little grocery store out in the country on St Rd 124 E. He was so sweet and friendly. I was so thrilled that I’d gotten to meet such a celebrity. I’m 85 now, but I still clearly remember that great
meeting.

I go out & visit a Opry site and listen to Glen play & sing that song and I hold back tears and do not let myself cry I miss seeing him on this earth so very very much. Wow, , I could not hold back the tears as I listened to Carl and Ashley perform one of Glen's finest. When Bill first said they were going to perform one of Glen's songs I first thought of Lineman for the County but they did a proper performance of Gentle on My Mind. We miss Glen Campbell so much.
