I found him in all the places, pulled the cord before killing the flame boss and it didn’t work when I went back to it to pull it again.

don't be like me and on the last step in chapter 5 attempt to pull the whip when you first see the cart in the furnace area before you do the Keeping Of The Flaming Mountains Boss in the next area. the whip will disappear after you attempt to pull it so you won't be able to get the transformation anymore...-_-

I haven't beaten the boss in chapter 5 yet and i still cant find him but i did pull the rope in the cart already without having yet talked to Ma tianba. Can i still get him or is it a NG+ thing for me now

I talked to him in chapter 1, 2, 3 and i don't remember doing it in 4 but I'm pretty sure i might have done it becsu i broke all eggs i can see..but in chapter 5 when i pulled that string multiple times nothing happend.. after competing chapter 5 when i came back here i cant see the string, i went in all chapter again to check where he is, i didn't find anywhere...i think its bug in ps5
