PowerFlex VSI Overview

Dell EMC Virtual Storage Integrator (VSI) is a plug-in that extends the VMware vSphere Client, allowing users of the vSphere Client to perform Dell EMC storage management tasks, such as datastore and RDM management, snapshot management, and host management including host best practices, all within the same tool they use to manage their VMware virtualized environment.

o ESXi Host/SDC Management including the installing, deinstalling, and upgrading the SDC
o VMFS Datastore Management including creating, viewing, deleting, and resizing

o Host and Cluster storage views for viewing all datastores and devices mapped to a specific host and cluster
o VM storage viewer for viewing storage details for a selected disk on PowerFlex storage
