Thanks Lee although I wonder if it works before modifying the Raspberry Pi with my iPad’s Brydge Bluetooth keyboard?
Well thanks Lee and “Terrible Ted” for the information and solution for the Wayland built-in keyboard problem.
Keep on Keeping on…😊! Have a great day!

I use real vnc to connect to my pi from my computers. Just tried it on android and works surprisingly well with touchscreen. The mouse is a drag around type, which isnt bad, and the keyboard uses the devices keyboard and its pretty smooth. You could also just use a remote terminal depending on what your doing. I've never used the pi connect so can't say how it compares.

Hello lee can you make a video, (or refer me to one) talking about setting up the Raspberry Pi connect feature for remote desktop on the Raspberry Pi, and can you also tell us if there are requirements in hardware or OS for Raspberry connect to work. Awaiting your response

Nesse caso você está usando um tablet, que por padrão ja tem o teclado. No meu caso tenho uma tela touchscren ligada no RASPI Pi5. Porém não encontrei uma forma de mostrar um teclado virtual da mesma forma que aparece no tablet.

I've just noticed RealVNC is removed from the Internet menu, not sure if it's because I've installed rpi-connect or if its because my RealVNC Home Team has been locked and is scheduled for deletion!

I need to test my tv's my bluetooth system to see if it's usable to help with my hearing issues. I'm not ready to plunk down money for bluetooth headphones or a bluetooth receiver yet. Does anyone know of an app that will let you use your phone as a bluetooth audio receiver and output the audio to the headphone jack? (Yes my budget phone has one.)

Is it possible to run the scripts or something similar on a "normal" tablet without PI OS?

Blue Touch android app - is that secure? Little bit leery of an app that states: "This app may share these data types with third parties: Location and Device or other IDs". When it comes to on-line security being paranoid is actually a good personality trait.

Oof thats a lot of work to fix something that should have been a non issue. I run a Ali 10" touch screen with my N100 Glued on the back. The touch is super precise and flawless out of the box. The screen has usb out for touch functionality and just works natively within Windows. I wish Intel could make something in the PI format. I'd buy that in hartbeat because of the amazing software support. Mayby Lunar Lake comes out in a smaller format some day..

or you could just buy a proper tablet with a real os like windows or chrome os both of which you can bring up the onscreen keyboard pretty windows you can leave it as a shortcut by the clock. Ipads will never have a proper os like a laptop because then apple might not sell as many macbooks.

Unfortunately Wayland not working properly with On-Screen Keyboards is what happens when distro producers pander to whiny gamer babies demanding a few more a few more FPS in "Starfailed" on their Steam Decks and rushing out an application far too early.

Fortunately, in my Gentoo Linux builds, xorg is still maintained and supported - and just works.
