man i like that you do this and do just do the gimmicky stuff that a lot of other people say to do, like hold off on scholarships so you can get a chance at an "insta commit". also not many people talk about the pipeline aspect and how important that can be year 1 and 2 with a 1 star school, so thanks for including that. great guide!

People I will say he is 100% RIGHT about finding people without an offer. I found a 3 star gem CB with 96 speed (no joke) and had no offers. No one ever made an offer to them.

I used this strat and in my first season with new mexico state, I managed to be number 1 for a 5 star prospect, once he reached his top 3 schools
unfortunately didn't get him, but that gave me hope

I signed 7 dudes my first year when I was learning. 7 .. I went and looked at the classes .. Gerogia was first with 24 . I signed 7 ... lol 101st ranked... I'm getting the hang of it more.. but hoping to snag some 5 stars

I started with Kennasaw as a OC. It's a slow burn at the moment. We are on week 3 and the recruiting process is looking good. I am number one right now with a 5 star QB. I don't know if it's because I did like you and offered anybody that touched my board a scholarship out the gate. I also targeted guys who deal breakers fit me. Like the QB deal breaker is playing time. He can get it here. Now in the actual game my QB threw for 400 plus his first two games. I don't know if that is helping the QB. I also have a ATH tho he is only 3 star but he is a Gem and he looked like he should have been a 4, and a 4 star RB they both have me top 2 or better. I am at the point where I can start doing a hard sale on some of these guys. I clicked this video to see if your philosophy had something that would help me navigate that part.

Underrated video! I'm gonna try a mixture of this strategy. Week 0 offer scholarships. Week 1 offer the 0 offer 4 star players course and no scholarship. This way I can build a lead still then have a Crack at instant commits with those players.

Great video. I imagine at some point EA patches recruiting so these players are generating offers from AI teams early on. Until then, this seems like the best guide.

As UNLV, I had 1 5 star year one, 2 year 2, 3 year 3 & 7 year 4 & the number 1 class.. I use a lot of this but I don’t offer 35 3 stars.. I recruit the same way though.. I send a ton of hours to top players I want at QB, WR & DL typically.. like I pick one that looks like a freak show and go hard

1. Does the Coaching Pipeline take a big impact on what region you pick? I hears it doesnt

2. As far as the soft sell and Sway go, how do they work and when should i decide when I should use the 2 vs. hard sell. Best recruiting video btw

I don't think the red gem necessarily only drops them down 1 star. I recruited a 5* Center that I wasn't able to scout in my first year with New Mexico that ended up being a 62 OVR. That's well below a 4*. I like this method though but I don't see the harm in waiting till you're #1 on their list to offer the scholarship. You still get that big "jump" along with the higher chance of an insta-recruit. I got a 4* QB doing this and he ended up being an 82 OVR. However, I wouldn't wait multiple weeks, if you aren't able to get to #1 on their board within 2-3 weeks I'd go ahead and make the offer. I'm going to try Jacob's method mixed with my own and see how it goes. I already look for recruits with no offers after week 0, though I'm usually locked out due to deal breakers.
